Since the Fellowship News is more of an intergalactic news organization now, we'd like to rename it to something more globally acceptable. So, I'm asking everyone to submit a suggestion for the new name. The winner will be selected tomorrow at 2:00 PM (Eastern US) at which time I will make the necessary changes to the site.
The Metaverse is truly a global community, and I'd really appreciate everyone's participation! If you are having trouble thinking of good names, think of your local newspaper's name. That's a good start!
Thanks!
Oh, and I'll start it off with "The Galactic Times".
ARGHHHHHH. not the Continium. we don't want the "Q" popping in and causing more mayhem.
(its hard for me not to add the ...'s to my posts. its become such a habbit over the last 6 years. 1. it does provide a pause for effect. and it also gives my brain a pause to think of what to type next. I believe its better than typing "ummm" all the time its also quicker and looks more inteligent)
or how about frogboy... he does a lot.. and there is nothing in the metaverse yet to pay homage to him
hmmm... like you know.. its not easy being green.
F Fast
R Refreshing
O Original
G Gazzette
...
let your imaginations run wild.
As for the viewpoint that news should be impartial, this is true but imposable unless its being reported by a machine. As everyone has their own feelings and emotions on matters, and no matter how hard ppl try some of it will allways flow through in their wrirrings. This is why there are many different sources of news inh the world.. each expressing the news from their viewpoint. something that is interesting to some may not be to others. so just remember this when reading the news no matter where it comes from
The Metaverse Review sounds about right to me. That gives you plenty of editorial license to pick and choose relevant stories and possible contributors.
I can't promise daily, but it is usually more than once weekly. Thanks for the suggestions! I like a couple of those! This is going to be a hard decision!
